Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI grew up with a country store much like Harrison's. Brings back fond memories.
One of the best breakfasts I have ever had in southern Illinois!!
A hidden jewel. Locals know it well, but if you are traveling the area and hiking at Garden of the Gods, Rim Rock Pounds Hollow make sure and stop in this old-fashioned general store restaurant gas station and get yourself a tasty meal. Stopped on a Friday and had catfish, broccoli salad, hush puppies and fried potatoes. Very good food at a very good price.
Clean place to stop and use the restroom. Friendly folks working usually. Not purchased much beyond gas and drinks though.
Owned by a good friend's former co-worker's family we always stop in here to say hello when we're turkey or deer hunting. Nice folks, great burgers and books on southern Illinois history you can't find anywhere else. Love this country store.
