Red Shanty Bbq Cafe - Higginsville

We stopped in Saturday afternoon with a party of about 18 people. No reservation. We had a great server that was very patient and helpful. She brought pitchers of our drinks to make sure we never ran out. We all ordered and the kitchen got our food out quickly and hot. The burnt ends and homemade chips are really good. I’ve eaten here many times and will keep coming back when we are close by.

We had the Cue for 2, great flavor real smoke, burnt ends so tender as was the ribs and brisket. Beans were perfect and the slaw was the best I've had in quite awhile. We're hooked we'll be back.

Great hometown food! Will be going back anytime I'm in the area. Garlic Parmesan chips are awesome.

Was great. Very cool place. Had brisket wrap and was so so very good. Was a tad pricey. Good food isn't cheap though. Will go back
