Food was good but expensive. Service started vwry well with the waiter from the czech republic but unfortunately once we had our main course we didn't see anyone until having to go to the bar and ask for menus for dessert. No one came to take order and when we went to ask we were told the kitchen is closed. All the main course plates were still on the table some 20 mins after finishing. Beautiful setting and atmosphere but sadly a disappointment for our final family holiday meal in Skye.
Oysters we’re good but all two other fish dishes we had very bland. Not worth the cost
When we arrived to the hotel the view was magnificent and the hotel was gorgeous. The staff didn’t seem to be aware of our reservation and claimed “it must be in the computer.” We were the only ones in the restaurant for our noon reservation. The menu was very limited to a few expensive seafood items. The oysters were creamy but a bit fishy. There was no sauce for the natural oysters so they offered a salad vinaigrette which did not go well. The tuna salad had several bits of shell in it. The service and ambiance was fantastic. Not our favorite menu (too limited) and it was expensive.
Local Food served in high quality. Staff very friendly, attentive and helpful. Very nice surroundings.
