Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI love that the pizza is oven fired. You can build your own pizza with whatever you want and the price stays the same. The pizza was fresh and delicious. They also have Agua Fresca and that is yummy and a nice refreshing choice.
Went in to get lunch today with my family. There was only worker there doing everything... needless to say the wait was long and we actually left because we had to wait for a couple of families to order, pay, and have their food cooked before the next group could be served. Not the fault of the worker he was in a rough spot but clearly not a well managed business. This is the second time we've been let down.
Such a fantastic place. I know it's a hard time for restaurants right now and I hope this place makes it. We went as a party of six to celebrate a birthday, three adults and three kids. Instead of a traditional pizza place where you have to decide how much pizza to order and how to arrange what toppings and with whom you might share a pizza, everyone could customize to their heart's content. (I'd be lying if I said I didn't eat the entire thing. Not surprisingly, a Sunday at 4:45 p.m. was not busy. We almost NEVER go out to eat we are frugal, we have young kids, we like cooking at home, there's been a pandemic all year, etc. ... but after this trip we will make it a point to go back to Burnt Pizza. The guy behind the counter was helpful and patient while we figured out what we wanted. Thanks for a great meal and a good time!
In terms of pricing, $12.99 for an 11-inch pizza isn’t competitive. Competitors like Mod offer more size options, while Burnt only has a one-size-fits-all approach, except for kids' pizzas. At Mod, I can get a pizza, salad, and soda for around $16. However, at Burnt, it's $13 just for the pizza, plus $7 for a salad, and a few extra bucks for a drink. On a positive note, the staff was willing to remake my pizza with less cheese and paid more attention to leaving some crust. However, they seemed a bit put out by my request to serve it without the paper underneath. The second pizza held the toppings much better, though maybe their crust isn't designed for heavy toppings. It was decent but still very hot from the oven and had an extremely thin, dry crust—perhaps a nod to their name "Burnt." I personally enjoy the char on Blaze Pizzas, and their crust isn't dry, which Burnt hasn’t quite perfected yet. I noticed they cooked my pizza for about 8 to 9 minutes, possibly to avoid the toppings falling off again, but in doing so, the crust ended up drying out. The atmosphere was nice, with pleasant music, but the restrooms were a letdown. They were dirty and had appliances that showed their age. Having a blow dryer without paper towels meant that after washing my hands, I had to touch the door handle that others likely didn’t clean, which was quite off-putting.
I recently visited this restaurant for lunch, and I am definitely planning to return. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting. I was greeted as soon as I entered and received immediate assistance. The staff member who helped me (I didn't catch her name) explained how everything worked and guided me through the menu. While it may seem like just another pizza place, I was in and out in just 10 minutes. The food was delicious, the environment was fantastic, and the staff was wonderful!
