Ono Poke - Homewood

This was my first time to try Ono. The lava bowl was STELLAR and I built my own bowl with salmon. Great portions and fantastic flavor. Especially if you want to go healthier and still want Asian/Hawaiian food. I'm never eating anywhere again, and I work in a restaurant! ????????

The food is great. Ive been there few times. However, lately the rice is too wet (munchies)like you eat vomited. Worst. Have to throw half of it away. I commented to them one but they still not fixed, so just letting you all know.

Their food was great. When we ordered, we were able to build our own bowls or choose from 4 suggested bowls. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our food but it was so fresh and delicious! It?s also nice because all the meat (and tofu) is standard so you only pay for the size of the bowl. Their ahi tuna was good. My wife and I are definitely going to go back.

Although I'm not a fan of raw fish, I really enjoyed the glazed chicken served with a variety of delicious toppings on a bed of mixed greens. I gave it four stars instead of five due to the pricing; while I think $12 for salmon or tuna is reasonable, the chicken could perhaps be priced a dollar lower since it's a more common ingredient. Just a thought!

The poke bowls here are quite good. I've visited twice; my first experience was excellent, while the second was just okay. The fish and other ingredients were fresh, and the staff was friendly. However, during my second visit, they were out of avocado but didn’t inform us when we placed our order. Instead, they refunded us $1 per order when they delivered our food. Additionally, the rice was overcooked and had a mushy, gummy texture. On the plus side, they serve the rice hot, which is how it should be for poke, so I appreciate that. Overall, I do plan to return.
