It included crispy bacon, romaine lettuce, and delicious, batter-dipped, deep-fried tomatoes. Most people find they need a to-go box for leftovers, so you definitely won't leave hungry!
My husband and I were on a little getaway and decided to visit the mountains, choosing Hot Springs as our destination. While passing by Smokey Mountain Diner, we decided to stop for lunch. It was so delicious that we returned the next morning for breakfast, and it was fantastic! Our waitress mentioned that they had freshly baked cinnamon rolls, so we decided to try one. Oh my goodness! We enjoyed it so much that we ordered two more to take with us. They're almost the size of a dinner plate! If you're in the area, you absolutely have to stop by, and if you're there for breakfast, definitely get a roll. The waitresses are incredibly friendly as well. If you have any questions about the area, they're the best people to ask!
This is the best home-cooked meal I've ever had! The French toast was the most delicious I've tasted anywhere! The cinnamon buns are absolutely amazing—make sure to go early on Saturday to enjoy them, or call ahead to reserve some.
This restaurant offers the finest home-cooked meals and features a remarkably friendly and dedicated staff. To my surprise, they serve generous, wholesome salads made with fresh greens, along with delicious fried green tomatoes and all the other classic accompaniments you would expect!
We visit Hot Springs every year, and the Smoky Mountain Diner is a must-visit spot. It's one of the reasons we look forward to our trip. Their breakfast and friendly staff are among the best in the Carolinas. In past years, we've always camped, but this year we're staying in a charming little cabin called the Boathouse, which I absolutely love because it's closer to the diner. Definitely a five-star experience!
