We go to Hot Springs every year. The Smoky Mountain Diner is a must. It’s one of the reasons we love to go. Their breakfast and staff are among the best in the Carolinas. We I have always stayed at the campground but this year we are staying in a nice little cabin called the Boathouse and the thing that I love most is it’s closer to the diner. 5 stars for sure
My husband and I were on a little vacation and decided to go to the mountains. We chose Hot Springs. We passed by Smokey Mountain Diner and decided to have lunch there. It was so good we went back the next morning for breakfast. It was great! Our waitress mentioned that they had cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven so we got one. OMG!!!! We ate that one and then ordered two to go. They're almost as big as a dinner plate. If you're in the the area you must go and if you're there for breakfast get a roll. And the waitresses are VERY friendly. If you have questions about the area they are the ones to ask.
This place is a must try for the best breakfast food and service around! I highly recommend it and don't forget to grab one of their shirts as a souvenir. The atmosphere is cozy with a mountain vibe, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the service is friendly and quick.
This is the best home cooked food ever!! The French toast was the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere!! The cinnamon buns are to die for-go early on Saturday to enjoy those or call to reserve.
