As an Asian food lover who have been to Japan, Komaya definitely is the one which serves authentic Japanese seafood and ramen cuisine. The owner Frank is super kind and hospitable and the cozy environment reminds me of the deep alley small restaurant in Japan.
DELICIOUS. I love this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the food comes quick and is never made incorrect. The ramen here is to die for and the calamari isn't rubbery like most places I've been to. I absolutely adore the atmosphere in this restaurant its very peaceful and would be a perfect location for a casual date. Me and my family frequent this restaurant a lot given its distance from us (we're 30 minutes away). Overall this restaurant supercedes my expectations every time. 10/10Parking: There's q limited amount of parking spots due to being in a strip mall but I've never had any issues finding somewhere to park
So glad we found this place, 10/10! One of the best ramen places I’ve been to.The prices are much better than Jinya and the food is as good, if not better. Jinya is just “trendier”. Komaya is calm and cozy; feels very traditional. We will definitely be coming here a lot. Sundays are happy hour all day! Servers are very friendly. We had the gyoza, spring rolls, shaggy dog sushi roll, Tonkotsu black ramen, and the Chashu Don rice bowl. The Chashu pork was perfect, wasn’t too fat and great portion.
This is our favorite place in the neighborhood. It's a natural combination of a good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I love coming there alone, with my 4-year-old, and with our whole family. Fried gyoza is the little one's favorite.Kid-friendliness: The overall environment is chill which is promoting a peaceful behavior.
