Pappas Bros. Steakhouse - Downtown

Food is excellent, but expensive . There are a lot of beef choices and some fish, shrimp and lamb BUT NO CHICKEN choices. Entrees do not come with any vegetable or salad, so you pay extra for those items.

Great food (appetizers, steaks snd sides) and a huge wine list which included some great more affordable options. And the service (Ashley) was great as well!

This was a a very disappointing experience. We had expected so much due to the high ratings Pappas Bros. seems to always receive. Excellent decor, lovely ambience but horrible steak. Billed as Prime , the ribeye cuts must have been the lowest grade of Prime. I have had Choice cuts that were superior. Possibly, a supplier slipped in some seconds to the beef order or a bad night in the kitchen. The meat was prepared to the proper temperature but was tough and dense.
