Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe only Korean restaurant I've found in Houston so far that services yukhoe (spelled yukhwae on the menu), and it was delicious!!! I'm definitely going to be back for the yukhoe alone! Sides were flavorful and not too sweet, kim chi was good. Also ordered seafood and tofu soup and that was quite flavorful too and not spicy at all. (Not picture) Also ordered galbi andtasted delicious. Will definitely be back for more yukhoe and other dishes! Side note: if you're looking for a place to gorgeon all you can eat grilled meats, this isn't it for you. I feel like they serve more traditional Korean dishes you can't find atmany places nowadays.
Great tasting food here! I like it alot. Only downside is no Kimbap!! Waiter seemed unfriendly but I think it's just the way she is. No hard feelings. The surrounding area is kinda shady but they really don't have any control over that. Highly recommend!!
Seoul Garden, a Korean restaurant with a legacy of over 20 years in Houston, has consistently stood out for its unwavering commitment to food quality. The flavored Korean barbecue meat is undoubtedly the highlight, showcasing the perfect blend of taste and tenderness. The small side dishes are a testament to the restaurant's dedication, always fresh and bursting with delightful flavors. The micro fish grilled is nothing short of perfection, offering a unique and delicious culinary experience. The meat, whether barbecue or otherwise, remains consistently tender, juicy, and flavorful, boasting a delightful texture that adds to the overall dining pleasure. Among the favorites is the seafood pancake, a true standout that never disappoints with its delectable taste and satisfying texture. Additionally, the seafood soup is a flavor-intensive masterpiece, loaded with a variety of high-quality ingredients that elevate the taste to a whole new level. Throughout the years, Seoul Garden has maintained impeccable service standards, ensuring that each dining experience is met with efficiency and warmth. As a long-time patron, I can confidently say that Seoul Garden remains a go-to destination for exceptional Korean cuisine in Houston. For those craving an authentic and delightful Korean dining experience, Seoul Garden undoubtedly deserves a spot on the list of must-visit restaurants.
So I enjoy coming to this Korean restaurant solely 1) it's the BEST Korean restaurant in Houston that I've been to in the last 15 years, 2) the food is always good and consistent, and 3) the service and staff are excellent. At Seoul, we always enjoy their side dishes (the salad, potatoes, and cucumber kimchi is excellent), but we wished they served stir-fried anchovies as well. You have to try the seafood pancake too. Honestly everything on their menu is fantastic. I recommend trying several different meats to grill like their Gal-bi (short-ribs), Bul Go-gi (thinly sliced rib eye), and Dang Gui (chicken chunks). Just be careful because your bill can add up fast. An order of Bul Go-gi is $30 and with our party of 7, we usually need two orders. The location of this restaurant is in is near Longpoint and Blalock. I have little ones, and it's always been a bit sketchy coming here at night, but we've never had any problems. Overall, Seoul Garden is a nice place to have dinner or a weekend lunch with family or friends. The staff is usually attentive and the atmosphere is good. *Edited 12/30/23 I've been here many times in between now and my original review 5 years ago. Changing from 4 to 5 stars because they never disappoint in food quality, service, and the ability to always accommodate our large parties.
I highly recommend this place as a native Korean person — hands down the best Korean restaurant in Houston. The food was amazing and authentic. The staff were very welcoming and kind. 너무 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다!
