You’ll never go wrong with the xiao long bao!!! Unlimited dimsum offer is a good catch if you wanna eat a lot
For Taiwanese food, I always go to Lugang as much as possible. Pork Xiao Long Bao juicy and flavorful, best eaten while hot as it tends to cool immediately. Mixed Mushroom with XO favorite! Staple dish in my every visit. Fried Rice w/ Taiwanese Sausage best fried rice for me. Spicy Garlic Qing Yi in Claypot my mom loved this, I liked that it is not Cream Dory but I do not like that it is Parrot Fish which is essential in marine health. I do hope that they can come up with an alternative to the Qing Yi (Parrot Fish) other than the Dory.
Lugang has been one of my favorite restaurants in Manila. It fired up my love for xiao long bao made me head over heels crazy with other dishes it has perfected. And when R's parents invited us to join them for dinner at Lugang, we couldn't say no. You know that a restaurant is doing remarkably well when it is at an inconvenient location yet packed on a weekday night. Dining at Lugang O'Square branch without reservation is near impossible with its many loyal patrons.
Serves fantastic xiao long bao. They have some novel dishes if you're into that, but I prefer their classic dishes. You get quick service too.
