If there is a thing that I have learned from our misconceptions in haikou, china is never away from a load or restaurant that has only Chinese characters on the display. they can always find a jewel from these shops. Anyway, the bub is with a light fever and the perfect eating for it is congee or porridge. I usually have a bowl, if I've got a fever. so decided to visit hurstville central station and wanted to try to load a porridge sold, unfortunately it was already 8:00 o'clock and they were already closed. they sat down below and found this restaurant. was a bit hesitant to try as most signs on their wall are in Chinese characters. obvious are those who can read it...read more

The taste here is good. I had the Malasiya curry chicken with rice today and got hot milk tea, daily soup for free, and got black tea in tea pot as wellYou will not believe that I just spent $13.8 on it! It's quite cheap. I will recommand my friends and family members to come here.

Charge congee for 5 ppl $60 rip off. Come out as 1 medium bowl for 2-3 ppl. The most expensive congee I ever had. Nice service, but I cant believe they overcharged the price massively.

I wonder why this place has so many people,the food was not even close to authentic flavor I think.It seems that the dim sum and dumplings we ordered just heated from the refrigerator,the flavor was not fresh.And the steamed fish was so plain and a little bit uncooked.Not a pleasant meal,although the service was nice.

Yu Star BBQ is specialised with roasted duck and pork by looking at the meat hanging in front of the restaurant, and by observing what other diners have. On a windy day with my sore throat, nothing is more perfect than a hot bowl of chicken and century egg congee. The seafood fried rice is yummy, decorated with fish roe on top The only issue is the service, the waitress delivers my food by casually banging it on the table, looking straight, fast and furious.
