Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe food looks promising on the menu, but it lacks any form of taste and presentation. The waiters are confused, but try to do their best. Sadly offered the best place to go.
Here at a party of 6, but two of us arrived early. The waitress didn't recognize anyone before the rest arrived, not even to say hello or take a drink order. Strange. The service was still poor during the night. The foods were best average, but the chefs are clearly not in maximum effort. I often had snails, but I never had snails so small. It really made me think that the cooks had cut them in half and they shared to earn more money per dish. It was also served with bare bread. My main dish was also strange, I ordered duck, but it came out boiled uneven. Half of my duck was overcooked and the other half was more rare (it was already cut in various pieces). I feel that some of the pieces came from an old piece of duck, and the other ones they had freshly cooked. On the side three of us should have had potato gratin, but it was served on the same dish to hide the fact that there are not three items, but two. And for 20 euros per main dish you can certainly separate any dish instead of making the customer yourself? Cut corners to get the profit from their customers. A side salad consisting of only a few leaves, which proved to be 4.50 on the invoice, was the cherry above.
Karle Weinkrugle is a regional restaurant with seasonal menus and Mediterranean influence. They succeed, but is it unique? It seems that most restaurants in the area are doing this too. They have their own wines and as it is often the case... with restaurants that do, the wine prices for wine quality seem high. This is not to say that there is something wrong with this restaurant, it just doesn't stand out. During our visit we tried the Muskateller Cabin, the red wine Cabin, a red house beer, a matjesfilet and a pig fillet. We found the meals better than the drinks.
We stayed 5 days ago as a guest in the winery and were pampered with the big kitchen. The room overlooking the vineyards of the Kaiserstuhl rounded off the visit. We like to come back in 2 weeks!
Dear Karle family. As part of the AXA office Andreas Danen, I thank you for the perfect stay.It was only for one night, but the check-in was smooth despite the rest day and the taxi was also informed. The rooms are really very nice and high quality equipped. The breakfast leaves no wishes open.Yes a perfect, soft 5 minutes I had usually only at home so far.The whole thing at a really cheap price.Because we couldn't have dinner with you. This would certainly have been the highlight. If you look into your card so pure. Greetings from Appenweier,Armin Merkel
