Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI absolutely love this place! I was first introduced to it around 2001, and I've been a fan ever since. Today, I took a 25-minute detour just to pick up some food for a meeting while I'm in town. It's that good, and I don't get the chance to come here often anymore. The full meal deal is my favorite!
When it comes to grabbing tacos to go, this place should be ideal. However, the barbacoa was excessively greasy, and I can understand why some people avoid tripas; it's because establishments like this one don't clean them properly, leaving a gritty texture. The picadillo was simply ground beef with a few small chunks of potato on top—there was no tomato sauce, making it very dry and poorly mixed. The red salsa was watery as well. I used to love this place, but now I'm just disappointed with the decline in quality. I'm not bothered by the prices, but I feel like I'm not getting my money's worth anymore. On a positive note, the coffee was excellent.
I wish it had been mentioned on the site that you would be closed on Father's Day. It’s quite a long drive from Holiday Beach, which was frustrating! Nevertheless, this place has been a significant part of my life, and I absolutely love it. Keep up the great work, and God bless everyone who works there! Food: 5/5
My daughter ordered a breakfast taquito with scrambled eggs and potatoes in a flour tortilla, which was quite large and filled generously. I had the Tejano dinner plate, which included rice, refried beans, some guisado, Tex-Mex enchiladas, and plenty of avocado. Everything was tasty! The guisado was particularly delicious, and the rice and beans were good too. However, the enchiladas didn't impress me since I'm not a fan of the Tex-Mex style. I wish they would provide a description or a picture of the enchiladas so customers know what to expect. Other than that, both the food and tortillas were amazing and reasonably priced. I will definitely return whenever I'm in town.
I was craving a taco and stumbled upon the City Tortilla Factory, a place I hadn't visited in decades. Walking in filled me with nostalgia as I took in my surroundings. It took a little while to place my order since the cashier decided to have a snack first, but after that, the service was quick. The tacos turned out to be delicious, leaving me wishing I had ordered more. Food: 5/5
