Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónFabulous, fun atmosphere. Traditional Scottish bar with great live music, a good selection of whiskies and beer on tap. We were there on a Thursday and it was quite full when we arrived around 7:30pm. If you want to experience a true local bar, this is the place. It was recommended to us by several locals, and we're so glad we listened.
Quite simply if your in Inverness visit Gellions Friday evening the music is tremendous and my favorite although all the the other bands artists are great.
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, enjoying the variety of whiskeys available for tasting, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Fortunately, there was a live band playing Scottish music that night, which included dancing, and it was a lot of fun! I highly recommend this place if you're seeking something authentic.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere that creates a strong first impression. However, the reception desk was quite worn and a bit unappealing, which made me notice some other imperfections. I really enjoyed the leisure facilities, particularly the outdoor hot tub and sauna. The bar area was inviting and cozy, featuring two roaring coal fires. On the downside, the bartender struggled to find a wine menu. The food was good, but I had to request the sourdough that was supposed to accompany my prawn starter. Breakfast was pleasant, although I wasn’t keen on the tea, but the waitress quickly swapped it out for me without any problem. Overall, the service was good. I particularly appreciated the beverage tray in the room, which was excellent—tasting the different teas and enjoying the Tunnocks tea cakes and wafers was a delightful treat.
This pub was a great time! If you're in Inverness on a Sunday night, I highly recommend it. There's live music and enjoyable cocktail shots. The service can be a bit slow, but it's a really busy bar, so a wait is to be expected.
