The majority of this review was posted in 2015 earlier, but due to a slight spelling/grammar issue I've had to delete it to publish it as the Yelp mechanism would not allow me to change the review with it being so long since it was reviewed which is fair enough. Nando's in the Arndale... I have been put off visiting here for a while ; it is normally filled with heavy queues of guests, hence I have gone to other branches but I have been here 2 times in the past week or so, and not had a wait to be seated. They seem to be far too overstaffed, with some of them walking around like headless chickens. This branch is pretty much a typical Nando's in terms of decor, albeit restricted slightly with it being inside a shopping mall, which also means the traditional African style music is quieter here, in comparison to other branches, but you still have the surrounding noise from the mall. The dietary book was poor quality and coming apart, they were no offer for a manager to come over and see me, which they should have done and it was coming apart. The food tends to be Nando's standard, up to a good quality with a few downsides. The chicken is nice, but in some parts, it did taste far too chargrilled, to the point it was a little grilled, which ruined the skin, that I usually like and in some parts, I found that the chicken didn't taste as good quality. As with all stores, there is a good range of sauces here, perhaps slightly more than average at this location mainly down to how busy it gets most of the time, so it is definitely needed. There isn't much seating, especially for such a busy branch of the chain in such a key location, with seating across 2 floors not really any seats upstairs), which needs to be improved if possible. This is probably one of the best Nando's stores in Manchester, but still some of the pricing, especially for the drinks £2.60 for a 330ml Iced tea and they sell a big 1L bottle for £1 in Tesco of a different brand) This just proves they are out charging people who don't want the fizzy drinks that are refillable. Due to so many problems, some of them minor I feel only a three star rating is possible for this branch of Nando's UPDATE: After some consideration and visits where standards of food have been slightly poor, I've had chicken both overcooked and undercooked and that was on the same visit), also with service standards also declining, probably down to this store getting so busy, which even can mean having to wait a significant length of time for a table, especially when compared to other stores where you could basically walk in straight away without a wait such as Manchester Spinningfields Nando's, and the Printworks store which are both considerably larger. Due to issues with the quality of service and food declining and the long wait times, I sadly feel Nando's in the Manchester Arndale now is deserving of a one star rating.
The best thing they have is the sweet potato and the corn
Although very busy and friendly member of staff quickly and politely showed us to a table. the food order taken and again was delivered both quickly and politely. chicken cooked as we like it.
I am a big fan of Nandos, but i didn't enjoy this time. The texture of chicken is soggy, the breast part is dry.
