Had breakfast here before you check out the hotel. We ordered prawn mee and Lam mee (clear soup) as well as steam chicken and cos their coffee. Good food!
On our last day in Ipoh we wanted to have Chee Cheong fun for breakfast. Lo and see, we stumbled on SSF restaurant next to the hotel where we were. The Chee Cheong fun is smooth. We ordered two types of Chee Cheong fun. The one with mixed sauce (and we have it with fried pork skin) is hearty. The armor is cleaner, but even more delicious. The star must be the prawn noodle. The broth is so much umami and they are generous with refilling wooden sieve, yarn and hard boiled eggs. I left Ipoh with a happy belly for SSF Restaurant.
Only the right balance in taste for the dry Curry noodles I had. Others had the soup based curry and said, was also beautiful. The toast bread is also beautiful. It's worth thinking.
Have always been a fan at SSF Restaurant. Co-owner, Yap is a nice and friendly chap always ready with a smile and chit chatting. We love the dry curry bihun mee and the shrimp dumplings, the noodle soup (lam mee) is also very tasty and delicious. Should you ever be in Ipoh, please make sure to visit them... SSF Restaurant closes on Friday.
