This place is excellent. I always get the bowl with spicy tuna on top. I ask for Sriracha. I definitely get it with the side, salad and miso soup and it’s phenomenal.
$8 Udon in Irvine, heck yes!!!My husband took me here cause he used to go frequently when he lived in the area.It was delicious!!There is plenty of parking, dine in can happen if you are ok with take out bowls and utensils (due to a shortage of employees, they cannot serve anyone like a restaurant), and there is water available.I ordered the simple udon with tempura flakes that included spinach and it was amazing! The best part was how affordable it was!!I tried my husband’s warm soba noodle soup and egg and chicken with rice. It was all so good!!Would definitely come back here and recommend it to many!It’s just a shame that so much dine in plastic containers are being used and wasted.
My fave udon place in OC! Typically get the combo mountain hot udon with the unagidon! Great deal and highly recommend
Overall great food and service.But a bit too much carb for the combo. I had the katsudon, both cutletAnd eggs are a bit dry, need some more dashi would be great.
