Pj's Cafe - Irving

Great food, friendly staff, hometown atmosphere. Located in a strip center, no pretense, just a really good place to eat. Don 't go there if you 're on a tight schedule, as the service is a bit 'relaxed ', but that 's a plus for me. It makes me feel like I can linger and enjoy the company of my friends or family, as no one is rushing about, throwing the food on the table and making me feel like I have to eat and run. The food is so good, like home cooking. I highly recommend the meatloaf.

I love this place. Service is great and the staff is lovely! Food is delicious and prices are never too high. I've tried several things on the menu, all good!

The only way I could love PJ's any more would be to have it in Arlington instead of Irving. The food is always excellent like home cooked ... Better than home cooking of I compare it to mine. My absolute favorite pies anywhere. My favorite is coconut meringue. I highly recommend substituting a piece of pie for 2 (of 3) veggies on the blue plate lunches. Since the expansion, I haven't seen lines outside. That's how good it is though. People will line up and wait when it's busy. The staff is super friendly. From my first visit about 5 years ago until now, I've always felt like a welcomed friend and not just a customer. It's a welcome hometown feel in the middle of a bustling metroplex. I'd be remiss not to mention the cleanliness of the restaurant and the restrooms.

Love it and the staff is so nice and polite!!! Their breakfast and lunch menu Also has a variety of food to chose from also they don’t try to rush you out !
