I was looking for a place that was a short walking distance from my Airbnb to have a meal since I hadn't eaten all day due to traveling. I arrived sweating and was pleased that they let me dine there because I was not a guest of the Zoetry hotel. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful. Perfect for watching the sunset over a nice Italian meal. They even brought out a fan. I don't think they brought it out specifically for me but I'm sure they noticed I could definitely use it, which was a nice touch. The windows were open so feeling the breeze from the ocean feels really nice. I ordered the burrada, calamari and the alfredo pasta which came with bread. You have the choice of white or wheat. The white bread is warm and soft and is topped with a garlic butter. Very big portions! The calamari wasn't as flavorful (seasoned) like how I'm used to at Italian restaurants in the US, but still tasty. I would've preferred less rings and more tentacles (there was only one). The burrata included yummy figs, sundried tomatoes, arugula, and prosciutto which paired well with the bread. The pasta was hand made which is my favorite, but some of the noodles on top of the dish were a little more al dente to my liking. I'm giving 4 stars because I ordered a glass of white wine, about $230-$250 MXN pesos, but I was charged $300. When I showed the server, she left to confirm the price and came back to tell me the menu was incorrect. I asked her if they would honor the menu price and they would not but she wouldn't give me a reason why. Not sure if I was being taken advantage of by being a tourist, but if not they need to update their menu.
