Didn't lodge at Ruthcliffe, just ate at the restaurant. The service, the quality of the food, and the unbeatable views make it totally worth the trip to this hidden gem in Isle La Motte. Reservations required. Food drinks: Dinner can be enjoyed outdoors and it is a great experience all around with friendly staff and delicious food and beautiful lake views. Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet
In the most unlikely place, a campground and summer lodge lies a culinary experience worth the adventure to get to. After meandering through the beautiful Champlain Islands and traveling on secondary roads, we arrived. The evening we were there it was cool and rainy. We still chose to sit on the covered deck. Our waitress was attentive and very nice. I ordered the short rib with garlic mashed potatoes. The other dinners in the party ordered rack of lamb and seafood Alfredo. All of the dishes came with a salad and choice of starch. Food was excellent!!! By the end of the meal the sun came out and we had a phenomenal view of Lkw Champlain and the sunset. Highly recommend Ruthcliff Lodge! Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet

Me and my family always love coming here. The owners are super nice. The service and food is amazing. Everything is super clean and well run. And there are courses (soup, salad, main, and dessert) which makes the experience super fun. The view of the lake and mountains is stunning. And the restaurant is accessible by both boat and car. Would 100% recommend coming here. A well worth it hidden gem. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value
