Special shout out to Warren and Kara. Would like to think the VIP service was due to them, but I doubt it. Definitely a must visit. Five stars is not enough.
Lots of parking, great and knowledgeable staff, food was fantastic as always. Great spot for IOP drinks and dinner
Can?t fathom the good reviews, unless they are from people not familiar with local cuisine e. The she crab soup was fairly good, although a little too thickened with flour. The pan cooked flounder was good, but not outstanding. The pasta special was Rigatoni with shrimp and vodka sauce. The pasta wastrels inedible? very tough and chewy. This wasn?t al denote pasta, but perhaps precooked and not freshened up before serving. The shrimp were also incredibly tough and overdone,
Came in for dinner at 8:25 and was told by the teenage hostess that they close at 8:30 even though their online listing said they close at 9. I asked if we could still be seated since we were still just before 8:30. The hostess looked at her manager to see what he?d say and he rudely signaled to her not to seat us. He didn?t come over to explain, or talk to us just flicked his wrist to tell her to turn us away which I found quite unbecoming of someone who is supposed to be
My husband and I are here from Colorado. We ate oysters on the half shell 7 nights in a row at different restaurants here on IOP and Sullivans Island. Our last night before leaving we chose our favorite! IOP Raw won! No contest! The staff was excellent, friendly and attentive. The Mother Shucker was amazing. The oysters were opened as we watched and were clean and delicious! We hope to be back someday soon. Cheers
