The best, 20 years! I wait all year to go back to giglio and to ruggero. for me is a second home. it's delicious! homemade excellent fresh kitchen. they have classic dishes and daily dishes with the fish. of the day. are two years the owner has changed. I only see improvements: the environment is much improved and they have a bit more menu variation besides the classic oriented. I am Italian, I come to giglio as I was a child and I am really allergic to to Tuuritic. ruggero is the example of a very good family restaurant with exceptional food and a coosy sphere. so we all love it!
The restaurant is located on the port, along the main promenade. the staff is kind and very helpful and good service. we ate outside and in May we are fine because there is no chaos. the dishes are abundant and cooked well but the real difference makes the fish, fished on the island and super cool. the first are excellent and therefore the contours. the second is subjective. We ate a perfect horse. I'll be back on the next Lily trip.
Very good eating, very nice atmosphere and very friendly people. my favourite place in giglio porto for dinner, especially for the risotto al nero di seppia and the coppa eva dessert! make sure to make a reservation; the restaurant tends to fill...quickly
Come sempre, la qualità della materia prima è inconfondibile. La frittura è DELIZIOSA, con un'ottima materia prima e grande professionalità e competenza. Abbiamo ordinato la frittura fuori menù in un momento di caos, servita in 10 minuti... Gustosa, delicata, tenera e croccante... preparazione da 10... bravi.
