This restaurant and our server Jesse was fabulous!! My husband and I were visiting from California and we found this local gem. We are vegetarian and the selection was amazing. I’d recommend making a reservation if you can, as it was very busy. If we’re ever back in Jasper, we will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Everything we tried was delicious:-mushroom carpaccio-spicy corn dip-wild mushroom and lentil loaf-vegetable pastiche
All I can say is WOW. One of my all time favorite meals. Menu is unique without being too weird. I got the chef's preparation halibut and my fiance got the elk wellington we both agreed it was by far the best meal of the trip.Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. I cannot recommend Syrahs enough to any Jasper traveler. Absolutely incredible!!
We came here one night and liked it so much that we made another reservation. Our first night there were 3 of us and we shared a Chef's Special of game--ostrich, venison and yak. We also shared a chef's desert sampler. Both courses were fabulous. And our server, Kirstin, was amazing. One of the things this restaurant does is assign fewer tables to each server, so the experience of eating there is more personal. But Kirstin really listened to what we were hoping for and then made sure it was delivered. We liked biking? She brought over a different server who bikes to discuss the local biking scene. We wanted to compliment the chef? Jason appeared and talked to us about the meal we had just enjoyed. This turned out to be a meal to remember. Our second meal was not quite as wonderful, partially because our first meal was impossible to top, but it was still very good. Definitely a place to visit if you want a superb meal.
