Absolutely delightful cortado and macchiato with a sour dough croissant. Incredibly friendly staff and enjoyable space. Calming and yet energetic. Loved my visit and would love to come back to try more items on their menu.

Chill spot and fantastic espresso drinks. Every time I stop in, I'm impressed. Very high quality roaster.

Del Sol sandwich!!! Literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. The passion and creativity from Lily is amazing. Extra shout out to Ace and Miranda, great baristas and always great vibes. Love them all!

One thing I truly appreciated was that they didn’t switch the music to hip hop or neo-soul when I entered. I've had too many experiences at cafes in Portland where, as soon as I walk in and I’m the only Black person there, they suddenly change the playlist to hip hop. I really dislike it when that happens! However, Futura maintained a strong identity by playing classic pop rock and upbeat dancehall music instead. If there’s one area I would critique, it would be the music selection. As someone who enjoys reading and working in cafés, I find that the current playlist doesn’t quite match the café’s vibe. It seems to reflect what the employees like rather than what might enhance the experience for those working there. I would suggest a selection of lo-fi music or cool jazz to create a more relaxed, mellow atmosphere instead of a club or drag show vibe. Overall, I’m sure I’ll be back because the staff is friendly, and the location is convenient for my work-related needs.
