Our water glasses were constantly filled like my coffee cup, the host was amazing and made sure we had a great lunch like the server. The food was really delicious (the chicken Caesar salad) and the ambience was funny. Very recommended if you visit Jerome.
We were pleasantly surprised how great this place is. We had dinner and you got what you're paying. Excellent food and service.
Staff was very courteous. Food was amazing. They served bread with actual butter balls (see pic). If you're in Jerome and want fine eating, this is it. Just don't be surprised if you dine with a spirit....
Go have lunch at the Asylum, the views are incredible and the Butternut Squash soup is the best ever, soooo delicious We love the food here!!!! Worth the drive!!!!
First of all, getting to the restaurant is an adventure in itself! Be cautious if you're driving a low sports car, as it's a narrow one-lane road. If you encounter another vehicle coming the opposite way, the car traveling downhill must back up to allow the other to pass. Now, onto the restaurant experience. I expected it to be less impressive, thinking it relied solely on its haunted theme, but we were both pleasantly surprised with our meals. We visited for a late lunch, and I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which came with a fantastic homemade dressing. The romaine lettuce was fresh and vibrant—none of the pale, wilted leaves you often see. The accompanying bread was excellent and a lovely addition to the meal. I adored the alfalfa sprouts on top; they were the perfect finishing touch! My husband had the hamburger, and as a frequent burger lover, he was thoroughly satisfied. The bun looked phenomenal as well. Oh, and I must mention my Sangria—it was delightful, full of fruit, and incredibly refreshing! We can’t wait to return to enjoy the stunning view and delicious food again. They also have a lovely patio to relax on.
