Bubby's Burritos - Jersey City

One of the many places that bring on the spirit of foreign cuisine but noting is really foreign with Mexican cuisine so shout out to Bubby's Burritos for the amazing times

Todsy was my second time trying Bubbys and both times I was highly disappointed. The soft taco shell was very wet. and gooey. The shrimp was so bland it didnt have any taste. I asked for a cup of salsa on the side, they charged me $2.00 for a shot glass size cup, which is ridiculous. Never Again. I dont care how nasty the hospital food is.

I love Mexican food, but this food was barely edible. I was offered a choice of either mole or green sauce, and I asked for both in separate containers, the idiot at the register said they couldn't do it, so I asked how much extra would it cost and he said they couldn't do it which was an obvious lie. I made the mistake of ordering the mole which was terrible. I asked for a handful of salt packets, he said they didn't have salt packets. Lousy food, lousy service, lousy experience.

Eaten here about six times. Never had a problem with service so far, as other people have reported, but except for one girl, friendly they are not. Can't use their delivery app because it doesn't allow you to remove certain ingredients and I'm afraid they'll get itvwrong if i write ot in the instructions. While the food taste okay, the portions are fine, and the price is okay for area, I did receive a burrito once that was extra salty. And unfortunately, they skimp on the salsa, sour cream, and cheese as if these are expensive commodities. Luckily, I keep these at home, but still. Also, the extra charge of using your card for convenience to pay rubs me the wrong way. Lot of the stores in the area are doing this now. I've started actually carrying cash again.
