Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónDriving back to NYC, got off highway to grab some food and stumbled across Pollo Fuego. The food is excellent home cooking! I had the pupusa (stuffed corn pancake) and the sweet plantains. My husband had the chicken. The people were very friendly and welcoming. This is a family place; the young son took our order with guidance from his mom. Definitely glad we passed up the fast food choices to get some real food.
Customer service was amazing and the brown rice is definitely made with love!!!
I will never come back. After I got home and seen that my plantains looked like horse ****, I was done. The green sauce that is usually thick creamy when you go to other Peurvian places, was watery and gross.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL There was one chicken (last one) being grilled, and owner asked me to wait 20 min for my order, so I decided to wait. Moments later, two other customers walk in asking for half a chicken each. Owner decides to chop the chicken in half and sell it to them both, and I waited 20 min for nothing. I said, That was my order . The owner starts acting stupid as if he does not understand English. All of this for an extra $2 (since they earn a little extra for selling in pieces). Very unprofessional Here is your bad review on Yelp for the $2 you traded off. So, I went to Wegman (Columbia), and bough the same grilled chicken for $5!!! While this place rips you off for $20 as if their chicken is so special.
What the hell is that ? Chicken. Is barely white with pinkish hue, it didn't taste good either.. Peruvian chicken is usually great, I dunno how they messed this up.
