Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónRealistically speaking my standards were Chicago Mexican food standards but this is legitimately the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Service was really good friendly and caring server. But definitely not coming back very expensive too not even in Chicago did I pay that much for some tacos. Beans tasted straight from the can, and who the hell eats ground beef and white cheese. Price per person: $50–100
I never write negative reviews but this place needed to be reviewed. We got there and within a minute the waiter asked if we were ready. We said we needed just a minute. After 8 minutes we flagged him down to order. The food was average at best the waiter never never returned. Not to refill water, offer another drink never came back. After we finished eating, we wanted to pay. We sat for a total of 9 minutes for him or anyone to return with the bill he did not. We were hoping to se him to flag him down. We decided to leave he was sitting up front with 3 other waiters talking, and handed my wife the bill. I could understand in todays world if he was busy, but while we sat all that time, he was just sitting there talking to other employees The WORST service I have ever had. As I said, I have never written a negative review, but this guy was just plain lazy. I will never go back. I always tip generously when service is good, and even more when service is exceptional. I have never left nothing until tonight.
Food was tasty just kind of expensive for experience there
I've tried three times now, and each time the food has been no bueno. There was nothing authentic about it. It tasted like they had to deflavor it to fit the location. Sadly, this was my last attempt. I ordered shrimp tacos that came with only a flavorless spicy sauce. I ordered some guacamole for $7.00 that had absolutely no flavor as well. The waitress told me it would come with rice and beans but later said she was wrong and apologized. I'm disappointed again.
Came from Texas, where mexican food is everywhere. But can tell you, this is one of the best places to eat mexican. They have real mexican ingredients. I knew that as soon as we ordered cheese for the chips, it wasn’t American nacho que ese. It was authentic mexican queso. And fell in love with every bite.
