Me being Vegetarian, it WA very easy to try different food from this place, they recommended and prepared dishes specially for me. The location of the Restaurant too is awesome overlooking the sea
On the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Koco Restaurant has stunning table setting in the midst of Marmara sea and trees, offering a a view of the famous Princes Islands. The menu showcases a variety of fresh, homemade-style dishes that embody the rich flavors of Turkish cuisine. The fresh salads are a delight, bursting with vibrant colors and crisp textures. The Turkish mezes, an assortment of small plates, are a true highlight, allowing diners to sample a variety of flavors and ingredients. Located away from the bustling tourist areas, this local gem offers a tranquil retreat where you can enjoy a meal in peace.
Brought me breaded fish after I explained emphatically and multiple times that for medical reasons I couldn't have carbs it became a humiliating conflict that disturbed other guests expensive entrées (1200 lira fish) but they own a grotto with beautiful icons, history, and holy water, so i do recommend a tea and a visit. the views are great too.
We celebrated a family member's wedding lunch at Koço. Service crew was very nice and careful, while the view on Marmara sea was wonderful. The food was in high-quality and real Turkish taste. Appetizer dishes were much more delicious than Kebab ones for lunch.
Amazing view... would be great to go before sunset, enjoy the clear skies followed with the nicely lit garden Friendly, generous, and hospitable staff Dlicious food Highly recommended
