Don Burrito Mexican Dēng Bù Lì Duō Mò Xī Gē Cān Tīng

I come every time I visit the south, even if I have to drive a few hours to get it. This is the most authentic Mexican food in Taiwan hands down. Hats for Manny! P.s. The wet burrito with green sauce is the best!

Authentic Mexican cuisine in Kaohsiung! We stopped here on the way to Kenting. street tacos- made with al pastor on a pit- are only available on weekends. The owner and the staff are very friendly!

I gave up on Mexican food in Taiwan before eating Don Burrito. Best Mexican in Taiwan, guaranteed. Yes, I have tried every Mexican spot in Taipei. Fresh salsa, fresh real sour cream, high quality ingredients, high quality well-prepped meats, flavors absolutely on point, and they execute dishes with consistency. These guys really care about what they are serving you and it shows. If you’re Mexican or American, this is one of two places on the island that can satisfy your need for good Trad Mexican, Tex-mex or modern Mexican food.

Amazing and authentic Mexican food as usual at Don Burrito. This is no doubt the best Mexican food in Taiwan. The owner (Manny Hernandez) is a great chef and a great guy who takes time to prepare amazing dishes and still connect with his customers on a personal level. It is worth a several hour round trip drive just to eat here. The menu is authentic and quite extensive these days. The difficult part is not being able to eat one of everything on the menu. The portions are quite generous and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients and the time spent in preparation. Manny once described the process of making his mole sauce recipe I was astounded at how many ingredients and how long it takes to make a legitimate mole sauce. If you haven't been to Don Burrito, go! If you haven't been recently, go again! You won't be disappointed!

One day I asked my mom if we could have Mexican food. We found this place. It is AMAZING! The food is great and the waiters/waitresses are so nice! We come here every week now. It is great and I recommend you try it! The street tacos are exceptionally good, too.
