I could only finish half the burger. The view is stunning but you are outside next to the beach so be prepared for some birdies to make little fly by visits. Our server was sweet but a bit a busy, this isn't the type of place you go for the service though for sure :
Ordered the fish tacos Mahi. Tiny sliver of fish for the giant tortilla. And too much oil on the cabbage. Tasted okay. Side fries was a whopping $10. At least it was cooked well. Hubs got the kalua pig nachos. Choke chips, but not enough toppings. And they forgot to add the jalapenos. Worst part were the birds. They were so aggressive and ended up on the table grabbing food when I went to the restroom and the hubs tended to the baby. No discount/accommodations made for that. Little disappointing.
Nice views, but service food need improvement. Our wait person 's name started out w/ Mala (didn 't catch the rest). She took our order then never came to check on us. Someone else brought the food, we had to ask for someone else to take our dessert order. Then had to ask another wait person to get her to bring our check. Ridiculous. Needless to say, she did not get a decent tip. We ordered the fish tacos. one had a lot of fish one had hardly any .. we redistributed the fish since they were being shared the taste was ok, but ended up adding the wasabi aioli that came with the ahi fish sandwich which was perfectly seared, had a healthy chunk of ahi...but the fries were cold looked like they came right out of a freezer bag. Also ordered the fish chips... again, both items were cold so don 't know if this was ineptness of the kitchen, or our wait staff. Did the food just sit there until it got cold someone else ended up serving it? Okay the mud pie was still cold (like it 's supposed to be) was very good. The IPA the mai tai were also good. Bottom line eat somewhere else ... then grab a table at Longboards, order a drink, get the mud pie watch the sunset.
Party of 11. 6 people put it in the 'never again ' category 3 said they 'd try something different. 2 wanted to kill me for suggesting it. Nearly everyone had something different. I can speak to the Fish and Chips. Looked great, and had great texture, but were tasteless. I was in the i 'd try something ' category. Hard to make a fish and chips that I don 't think is at least decent- but they managed. Rude hostess did not help add to place at all.
Most excellent food! Garlic fries to die for. Their kalua pork quesadilla with pineapple mango chutney was fantastic! And you can't forget the mud pie! Really great service too. So friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be returning!
