Halal food. Wohooo …..Good ol’merican food. Nothing special nothing fancy. Nice clean place. Seats and tables were constantly wiped down even when unused. Food came fast and fresh. Make sure you order the chicken spicy. Otherwise would be very bland. Nice price too. The guy who took the order didn’t ask if we would like drinks ….missed a chance there.

First I would like to say that I have been here a few times and each time the location is very clean, and the staff has been excellent. They are very friendly, always get the order correct, ask if you need anything else, etc. The food has been hot and tastes very good and fresh. The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because the portions are not huge for the price. Bread, fries, tenders and sauce all taste excellent but the amount of fries, and size of the tenders in my opinion has been lacking for the price. As long as you are okay with that everything else about this place has been top notch. I also agree with some of the other reviewers that the menu could use more options but if tenders and fries are what you are craving I would certainly give Layne's Chicken Fingers a shot.

Worried this place might close due to slow service... hard to ignore when the walls are covered in clocks...It's dinner time and this place is empty and we're going on 15 minutes waiting for chicken stripes...not sure if I will be able to go on...I fear this my last entry.

So a friend turned me on to this place to try, since I just moved back to Houston. This place was very clean and the service was fast. I went with their 5 finger original and shared with my son. We both went for their buttery toast bread first. I should have ordered a side of it. So good! So since I didn't know anything about their sauce I was skeptical about it. I did end up loving it! All around great flavor in chicken. Next time I'm not sharing. Fries could have been better tho. They tasted like the freeze dry fries that you get at H-E-B. Other than that great place for chicken PS, they have that ice that we all love too.
