Bakery Cafe (kota Bharu) - Kebakat

The meals were very good,Fairly priced except that the beverages were rather expensive. The staff came in early at 8 a.m. and food served by 9a.m. to 9.30 am depending on the chef if she arrived early. By 10 a.m. everything is done. One restaurant is at the Upper Storey 157,Jalan Pintu Pong (Tel Nr.:09-748 3298) and other at 3803 Jalan Hamzah opp. KB Mall (016-9222736).

Decent bakery with wide range of baked goods (read: sugar shots, as usual with pastry etc. this region) and a coffee shop on the right of the store. Verdict: Everything we had was decent, nothing bad nor great. Option for some air-conditioned coffee snack. Price: no clue how the previous reviewer has produced a 100 dollar check in a dirt cheap city as this, unless buying the interior of the place. Prices are in line with Kota Bharu and thus acceptable.

Ordered some dishes where the food was tasteless. Paid nearly 100 bucks for 4 people. However, I heard that economy rice is good and cheap. But Starcafe is the best.

Good food at affordable prices. The selection at the bakery downstairs is particularly good, and all the pastries which I took for my journey home were very very well made. The restaurant upstairs offers a very good selection of vegetarian food at a price point which is very affordable.

It offers a great variety of bakery to select from at reasonable price. Good hygiene as the main door is closed, so no flies inside the shop.
