The second order was half a half that consisted of 2 small pieces of fish, 4 pieces of shrimp, 4 small Hush puppies and one side of potato salad. Both orders were very bland, which was very disappointing. The hush puppies were very good. It wasn't worth $40.00.
In town for a bike event during essence and heard this place was great. Was told it was a 10 to 15 min wait but it was longer and someone that came in after me was seated before me. Then once in and ordered, it was 45 mins to get my food. I had char broiled oysters and they were delicious. I would go back if the wait times were better.
Thank you so much for a wonderful lunch! The hush puppies are very good and the waitress suggested the fried stuffed soft shell crab. She was right! I even got the sweet tea to go it was so good. Near the airport for a quick stop if you are coming in or going out. I will be back.
I can't believe it, the seafood here is definitely the best seafood I've ever had in America! Not only is it fresh, affordable, but more importantly, it's delicious! Everyone recommended that I eat here as soon as I got off the plane, and it turns out they were all right. I can't believe we only spent 50 bucks on this! If you're in New Orleans, you get off the plane, and you're in time for dinner, trust me, you can eat your first meal here!?????
I've been coming to the port of seafood for years when it was a much smaller place. The prices have risen over the years, but the kindness of the staff and the mummy? Food remains the same. The Poboy Soup Lunch Deal is decent, but upgrade to the Softshell Cab? will be expensive
