Khaothong Terrace Resort - Khao Thong

Must must go when I krabi, a half hour from Ao nang and the most spectacular view and food!! Will definitely visit again:

Here is a restaurant on Khaothong Hill that you don't have to take a shuttle bus to go up the hill like others. The food and service are quite good. Stir-fried squid with black ink was the best on this trip; we ordered this item repeatedly. It was so crunchy! Soft-shell crab fried with tamarind sauce is recommended. Rice vermicelli with curry crab was out of this world. The gravy was very thick with coconut milk and lots of crab meat. Introverted people must love this. It's not too crowded. Good value, though not the best view like others.

This is a must visit...even if only for the view. Breathtaking. Food and drink offerings are extensive and quality and price is exceptional. It gets busy, especially for sunset.

Visited the cafe after reading positive reviews on the Lemon 8 app. Tucked away from the busy Ao Nang district and up on a hill, the pictures say it all. Food was 8/10, quite a variety. People pay for the view and it was worth the drive. Expect to pay a small fee for a chartered vehicle up to the cafe. Service: 4
