Cafe Kiama Scoops Ice Creamery Gelateria

First visit: Lovely owner who served us so thoughtfully and wholesomely. There’s options for many dietary requirements, including dairy free lactose free vegan etc So happy with my pistachio and boysenberry gelato, and the lactose free chocolate milkshake was unbelievable! 2nd visit: The pork spring rolls are clearly homemade crispy pastry bursting with filling, and homely spring rolls with the pork mince flavour emulating that of a Vietnamese bánh bao (pork steamed bun). The veg spring rolls have a net type pastry exterior which I love because I like buying those ones back in Sydney! The deluxe pork bánh mì is super satisfying! The only downside is the bread isn’t the crispiest, which I’m not fussed by, given if you’re in metro Sydney, you’d have much more easy access to freshly baked Viet bread due to a higher turnover. The filling of roast pork with some extra crackling, and the signature shallot oil, makes it a great bánh mì to enjoy here in Kiama!

Exceptional ice cream store experience. We were warmly welcomed from the moment we walked in. The super friendly staff took time to make a huge fuss over the kids in our group and make them feel special when choosing their ice creams. The cream quality was fantastic and the prices were really fair for the very generous scoops we all received. The store is exceptionally and has an really inviting fun modern aesthetic. We will be back every year during our large group’s planned annual south coast trip! This was a delightful way to reset from a really poor experience the day before at the other ice cream store near JAWs fish chips avoid that one at all costs unless you want your day ruined .

Great idea to combine ice creamery and vietnamese food. On a freezing cold night, just dropped in to try Warming Pho. We had a bowl of chicken and beef Pho for our dinner. Very tasty good value and hit the spot.. One young man having a go give him a try.

I didn't forget you, I promise. How was your long weekend? it was a great easter for me, and it has thrown everything away with a short holiday to kiama. I'm not the outdoor girls, but I have to say that kiama was idyllic. I had a fantastic time to stroll on the water, taste local caffes and try out a night photography! what do you think?
