Kea Lani Restaurant - Fairmont Kea Lani

The hotel experience was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly, from the front desk to the housekeeping. The hotel is located right on the beach and offers complimentary chair and umbrella set up for guests. There is also free parking available. The rooms are excellent, with thoughtful touches like motion sensor lights in the bathroom, automatic drapes, and multiple lighting options. The resort offers a variety of activities, including options for kids. There are multiple pools, including one with a multilevel water slide.

Pros: - The property was well-maintained and clean, including the pool, cabana areas, and beachfront. - The concierge, bell staff, and poolside servers were very helpful and accommodating. Special praise goes to "Missy" and "Anika" from the concierge, as well as "Ruby" and "Joston" who provided excellent service. - The accommodation, a two-bedroom partial ocean view suite, was spacious and suitable for a family of four. - Cabana rental was highly recommended for daily use, especially with kids, and included amenities like soft drinks, ice cream, and towels. - The close proximity to the ocean and private beach was convenient, with towels and chairs provided. - The pools were enjoyed by the kids, including a fun slide and a secret hot tub, as well as an adult pool. - Transportation to and from the airport provided by Fairmont was impressive and convenient. Cons: - Noise pollution from construction was a major issue during our stay, as there are ongoing renovations that were not adequately highlighted before our arrival. The noise, including jackhammers, was disruptive and constant throughout the day. - Housekeeping could be improved, as drink ware was frequently removed from the room, requiring replacements to be requested. - The restaurants at the Fairmont were not impressive, with limited variety. Our experience at Ko was disappointing, and we were deterred from dining at Nick's due to the appearance of the building. Overall, while our stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani had its ups and downs, we appreciated the efforts of the staff to address our concerns and provide compensation for the inconveniences we faced during our visit.

We had a great experience at the Fairmont overall. We stayed in a fantastic 3 bedroom villa that was clean, well designed, and perfect for our two families. The villa included breakfast each day with a great buffet offering a variety of delicious food. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. However, the construction taking place in the lobby was a major inconvenience. Despite being informed of the renovation three weeks before our trip, the constant noise from the construction made it difficult to enjoy the pools and other amenities. It would be best to wait until the renovation is complete before visiting. Additionally, some of the staff were not as friendly towards the teenagers in our group, but we were able to handle this by having the adults interact with them instead. Despite these issues, we would consider staying at the Fairmont again in the future, as long as the construction is finished.

Horrible construction noise permeates all areas of the hotel. First floor restaurants (ko at lunch) adult pool area, even jackhammer noise permeates to the 6th floor! DO NOT COME until construction of the lobby entrance are done! Beautiful grounds suites but not worth the price when construction is occurring!

Highly recommend! Beautiful, open, and large hotel with 5 star service from hotel staff-whatever we asked for they accommodated. There were a good number of guests but did not feel crowded, there were enough empty cushioned chairs with umbrellas for guests to sit on at pool, lawn and beach. Wonderful ocean views! Pools, waterslide and beach were fun esp for the kids the swim up bar was fun for adults. Plenty of towels around-don’t have to keep asking the person behind the counter as other hotels have you do! They give you leis upon arrival what a wonderful Hawaii welcome! . Their yoga class near the beach was exceptional! Two negatives-construction by one of the pool spa noise is loud annoying! , but read its until December. Our room location not the best employees shutter stop below our balcony and we can hear them talk they can hear see us on our balcony. Other than those 2 negatives which one is temporary the other fixable , we will definitely come back as one of our yearly regular Hawaii stays!Safety: Room had warning about ocean water no other hotels we stayed at have provided this
