Taqueria Mexico Lindo #1 - Killeen

Omgosh! This food is delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was fresh, great flavor and reasonable in price. They serve you enough to get plenty full. It's a very quaint, quiet, clean and nice place to enjoy your Mexican food! ??

Well hello everyone it has been a very long time since I posted a review, but I just could not pass up the opportunity to compare the Menudo from these Mexican Restaurants.Today I went to Taqueria Mexico Lindo 1 for some menudo for the very first time. I am used to buying menudo with large chunks of meat that is extremely flavorful. However, when I went to Taqueria Mexico Lindo I ordered (2) two large menudo' with extra meat and I was charged extra for the meat. But when I received my order and got back home, the meat was cut into very small pieces and the menudo had absolutely no flavor. It looked like water with menudo in it. So I went to the Taqueria restaurant on West Stan Schlueter Loop and ordered a very flavorful menudo with large chunks of meat. The only problem that I have with the Taqueria restaurant on West Stan Schlueter is that they charge you extra if you pay with your debit or credit card, but they will not give you this information when you order at the window and they will not give you your total when you place your order at the window. I will do a separate review on them because I think that everyone should know what is going on with these restaurants. Now with all that said, I am going to post two pictures of the menudo that I purchased from both restaurants. The first photo is the one from Taqueria Mexico Lindo 1 and the second photo is from the Taqueria Restaurant on West Stan Schlueter Loop. You can clearly see the vast differences.

We just moved in and this taco joint is close to our neighborhood. We've had the breakfast tacos, they're really good. The sign out front is false advertising though, the 12 pack of tacos is no longer 9.99. They need to either just take down or replace the sign. Other than that, I've had a good experience with them and friendly service. Will need to go back and try their lunch tacos!

I had their caldo de camaron churro for dessert,it was so delicious!!! I highly recommend if you are in the mood for Mexican food!

My favorite meal is the TORTA, I always get the Barbacoa with opinions and cilantro. To day it had mayo, lettuce, onion, cilantro and avocado...my coworker were almost circling like sharks ?. It was fabulous!!!
