Roy's Catfish Hut - Kinder

Friendly place. Waitress was fantastic. Nice salad bar. Fried oysters were the best I have had. You will not leave hungry.

4/24/22 arrived at 12:21pm. Church crowd was already there. There were 2 of us and we were seated with 8 minutes. We were seated in what looked like an add-on area. There was a table of around 18 when we first arrived. As the minutes passed, more and more people joined. Probably around 30 by this time. Our waitress was working their table and ours. The lady that seated us told us our waitress had the large table and we were okwith that. The lady that also seated us got our drinks for us. Our waitress was great. Even with the ever multiplying number of folks, she did her best to get our food quickly. We both ordered the crawfish half and half. Crawfish Etoufee and a generous side helping of fried crawfish with toasted bread. The food was great. Would definitely eat here again because of the food. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the noise level in the added on area. It was so loud, I couldn't carry on a conversation with my boyfriend was 15 away from me. The noise was deafening. I'm sure adding some acoustical panels would help with that.

This restaurant makes the best blackened catfish shrimp effoutee. The fresh salad bar is very good. The service is especially great ,friendly, knowledgeable, on the ball. Checking on your needs. Would definitely return.

I went to Roy and immediately felt welcome. Two ladies at the door greeted my husband and I and we sat fast. Our server was fired, attentive and our drinks were quickly refilled. The fried pimples were delicious. The salad bar was very nice and was included with our meals. I had the seafood plate and the portions were huge! Everything had a great taste. We'll come back to kids next time.

Loved the salad bar with your meal. Food was excellent with a healthy part. Stop... you won't regret it.
