Pizza Express - Kingston upon Thames

In Kingston, PE, a lovely waitress named Saayeh was very kind and welcoming to me. All the staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly.

Last night was my first time visiting this restaurant. It felt like a return to its origins, although it was missing the Gerberas. The building was lovely and the service, provided by Prashil, was excellent.

We arrived at 7pm with a reservation, but waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did, both our starter and main course came out at the same time. There was only one waiter serving the upstairs area, and a large party of 20 had just received their starters when we left. The food was tasty, but the service was lacking. We will be dining at the Rotunda restaurant in the future.

Me and my friend often go to pizza express. It was fine until the most recent time, when they charged us double the amount. When we went back, they lied to us and said that they did not charge us double, and no money had been taken out of her account, which was obviously a lie as we could see the money had been taken out of both of our accounts. It’s sad to see how companies take advantage of and exploit teenagers and children because we are an ‘easier target’.

Our food took more than 45 mins to arrive while all the time we could see take out orders being prepared and collected. Eventually the waitress came over and explained the kitchen was struggling to cope under the demand for phone orders so food for customers eating in would be delayed. I mean honestly this is not a good look pizza express!?
