Warren House - Kingston upon Thames

My reservation was not found on the list, but luckily the restaurant was not full. The atmosphere was very relaxing, however the bread on the sandwiches was a bit dry.

At the entrance the plots are impeccable and we were delighted to celebrate my wife's birthday with an afternoon tea. What is beautiful outside was not a reflection of the quality I expected and at the prices for what you pay. This place tried to beat at a high level, but felt that we were a bit far from M

Beautiful hotel and gardens. afternoon tea very moderate. Very disappointed by the service. Needed to ask for important things like milk and teaspoon for tea! Also expected to offer the plate change when they are on the desserts of the sandwiches, and also cups when different teas. Surprising with the reaction when we mentioned some of them to a male member of the staff. He said he was surprised that we had addressed this, as we seemed happy that the waitress took our photos! Very strange to say. The conversation of photos that waitress made it, completely cut by one of my friends in all 3 photos! This is a great place to go if you want to admire the view and it would have been nice outside if it were sunny. However, there are no high expectations for food and service. I wish I had spent a little more and went to one of the nicer hotels in London. I should say that when we resurrected our concerns with another waitress, she offered us even more sandwiches. I think one of the problems was probably bad training of junior staff.

What a beautiful venue! The food was just lovely with a wide range of cakes. Gallons of delicious tea too. Excellent service. It was my birthday that day and was a lovely way to treat myself and a friend.
