Wingsup! Kitchener Kingsway

Last Saturday, July 29, 2023 was International Wing Day or something so there was a promo of 1 lb of wings for $9.99. NONE of the Wingsup restaurants would answer their phone. NONE! I went there in person. Phone ringing off the hook. The one on Kingsway closed at 6pm. The one at Highland refused to answer the phone. You know WHY??? Because they didn't want to honour the promotion that the Corporate Franchise head office created for Saturday! So they just took no orders! Screw Kingsway, Screw Highland Rd, Screw the Waterloo store for ignoring customers! I will NEVER order Wingsup again EVER!!!!!!

I placed an order with the estimated delivery being 11:20am. 1145 I called the store and asked what’s going on and they said another 20 minutes or so. 12:30 I called requesting to cancel because I was sick of waiting and they said they can’t as it’s out for delivery and it should arrive in 10 minutes. 12:50 it finally arrived and everything was barely warm. Very disappointed, never ordering again and would not recommend to anyone

We got the cheese lovers appetizer and 2lbs of wings. The appetizers were not great the especially the Mac and cheese wedges and perogies. The mozzarella sticks were quite tasty though and the portions were decent.However the wings were fantastic, they were large well cooked and we loved the uniqueness of the flavours we chose (honey garlic parmesan and Texas tequila).I would definitely order again but would probably just stick with the wings next time.

Got some XL wedges and onion rings for myself. So disappointed — wedges weren't crispy, had no seasoning, and literally no salt. They were tasteless. Plus the XL size was absolutely not worth $9.99. I could throw frozen wedges in my oven and have them come out better for a fraction of the price.The onion rings were decent, but again they really skimp with the amounts they give you. I also want to say that there's a picture in one of the reviews of some pretty good looking rings — the ones I received looked completely different.They must have changed their recipes, because I'm blown away this has a 3.8/5.Only redeeming quality was that the lady at the cash was very sweet.

We love their food. Wings are huge and saucy. Food is always hot and fresh. Try the perogies! WingsUp is a hit at our house.
