Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI have been coming to this place since I was a child and I love it. Originally known as Captain Americas, it seems they have now joined the Hamburger Heaven chain.
The management was rude and did not allow drinks in the beer garden. They also did not provide sweet chili sauce with the wedges, and the cocktails came with flat soft drinks.
About the nicest thing i can say is the food was edible...barely. When i called to book the guy seemed to be a mix of surprised and inconvenienced. Should have been enough of a warning. On arrival we gave the details of our booking and were asked to 'just sit ourselves over there, the girls will be in to help us soon'. A sign on the register announced that due to an EFTPOS problem they were only accepting cash. This is not a cheap burger joint- they start at around $15! "The girls," as they were referred to, had to go and check everything. They didn't even know what soft drinks they had. My sons apple juice had floaters in it, which appeared to be mould. Our food took close to an hour and we were the second table to order; it wasn't even busy yet. When we tried to order dessert, the waitress responded, 'and if we dont have that?'!! Perhaps she did know something because she returned to tellus they didnt have either the cheesecake or the kids frog in a pond. It's a bowl of jelly! How hard is that??? So we gave up. They still charged us for the soft drink thats advertised as part of the kids meal. Never again. I kept waiting for Gordon Ramsay to pop out.
Been a while since we have been here but the ribs are still the best. Pork & pecker was the choice for most, wings & ribs yum.
