Jason's Deli - Knoxville

The woman at the front taking orders seemed to have a poor attitude. I recall visiting this place before and experiencing the same issue. She appeared unsure of where things were on her computer, which is understandable, but my order ended up being incorrect. I had ordered a sandwich and a plate for the salad bar, but instead, I received half a sandwich with chips on the side. I thought, "Well, food is food," and decided to eat it and leave. However, while I was halfway through my sandwich, I noticed a tiny bug crawling in it that looked like lice. If Gordon Ramsay had been there, he would have shut the place down within five minutes.

All of their sandwiches and the salad bar are great. Expensive, but that's the norm everywhere.

Food quality has been consistent over the years. What keeps it at 4 stars is the condition of the floors etc in the restaurant. Dirty, random paper etc strewn in places. That’s something new for this establishment as in the past it’s always been clean. Management may want to keep an eye out for what needs to happen.

Very very good restaurant. They have sandwiches and wraps and a salad bar with seconds. Also have free soft serve ice cream with purchase of regular food. I got the new Alamo wrap and it was delicious.
