Stadtwaldhaus - Krefeld

Visited here with my family on a rainy evening. we ate inside, up in the building. the waiter was very friendly and did his best to translate the menu for us.

We had an English family to visit for a week and of course we had to spend a day in the city forest. the sun radiated and we went, adult with boobs, of which under years. first stop. the children's play size, where all the different devices were tested, the huge wide slide was popular along with the rope ride and the obstacle course. we then moved into the cafeteria for drinks, hamburger and several other dishes, of course the adult had to try to serve the beer in glasses. the beer was so good that we had to have a second round, yes it was just as good as the first. the boat lake catches the imagination of the year and he decided that we should try our hand when booting. all on board and we have hit the way around the island and kidnapped our heads when we drove under the bridges that of course the children have used most. back to the playground and also back to the cafeteria with the big picture in the background. for the müll there was müll and the park was very clean. our visitors were so impressed by the park they visited twice before their week was on and they praised for another visit next year. well made krefeld more satisfied tourist to pass the word around.

This little gem is a wonderful place to come and sit outside in when the weather is good. This old building with a beautiful giant mosaic on the back of the building, overlooks a little lake and woodland walkway. There is a large traditional beer...garden between the building and lake and it's divided into picnic and table service areas. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attentive. The drinks and food are served swiftly. The food portions are large and extremely affordable. Try something different, or go for the safe option Currywurst. All very delicious. I can't wait to come again.

Visited this restaurant whilst attending a family reunion. The building and grounds are spectacular, a truly beautiful area in which to relax. The service was outstanding, especially the lovely lady with the dark hair. The food was delicious and plentiful, including a lovely buffet...for dinner. A delightful place for a romantic dinner or sunday brunch with the family.

Have been drinking and eating here during my last ten years in crefeld. basic German kitchen, good atmosphere in the warmer months.
