We frequently visit Langkawi and were surprised that we had not discovered this restaurant earlier. We stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance, well past the lunch hour. We ordered the Malay lunch set, which included Masak Lemak Daging Salai and Asam Pedas. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. We loved the cozy ambiance of the restaurant. It's not surprising that we returned the next day for tea.
We had a delightful lunch at this serene cafe located off the main road. The menu was in Malay, but the waiter kindly provided translations for us. We savored two delicious curries and would highly recommend this place.
Found this on Trip Advise so thought would give it a try. Food was excellant, friendlyservice and really helpful.
I am one of those travellers not comfortable eating food that has been out all day in metal trays that you will typically see in Malaysia. So it was a lovely surprise to come to this clean little restaurant in Kuah. It is a 1 year old, family run restaurant with nice decor and yummy food. We were the only people in the restaurant but honestly, it deserves more people for the ambiance and food. We ordered fresh apple juice, tea (no sugar, as we don’t enjoy artificial sweeteners) and a couple of the recommendations from the waiter which was their house special. Bill came to 41 Malay ringets. Only thing is restaurant is in an odd place near the Toyota dealership with a few empty buses parked on the street. Disregard that, the restaurant itself is lovely, the food highly rated and the service was good too! I will definitely come back! I love supporting small local businesses especially if they take pride in what they create.
