Heli Lounge Menara Kh - Kuala Lumpur

This is, seriously, the best bar in KL. I’ve been to a lot of rooftops here and Heli is the one with the most amazing vibe. There you need to buy a drink so you can go up to the helipad part, drinks are around RM35. (The drinks are amazing also) [edit] the food there is not worth it, the meatballs were made with poor meat with a lot of nerves inside. Really disappointing. On the top, you can see the sunset, with good music and tables to sit and chill. To sit you need to order food, we ordered French fries and was cheap and good ones. If is not raining, going there is a must do in KL. Don’t miss it!

It is one of our best experience in seeing KL city from top. We came during CMCO, without any reservations But highly recommended to make a reservations near to the KLCC view to get the best experience as well as check the weather forecast prior to coming here. The view is gorgeous and good to hang for awhile to catch the sunset. The view gets better after sunset where the city lights up. It is quite windy up here. We visited around 6pm so no dress code is required. Heard that it is more strict after 9pm.

100 RM entry fee per person including 2 drinks you can choose from a small selection (like wine, beer, soft drinks). They have other drinks but you’ll have to pay separately. The view is absolutely breathtaking! At the end of the day, this is what you come here for, not great mixology or service I guess. For me, the entry fee was worth it to be able to experience KL this way.

This was a lot better than I expected! The hugely inflated prices and extra fee just to go up to the roof did put me off and I wasn't sure it'd be worth it but it absolutely was. The fee is 100RM but you get two drinks included from a slightly reduced menu. The view is incredible. Even with the bit of rain we had it was still great. The atmosphere up top is really nice too (the music is maybe slightly on the loud side but not extremely). Definitely an experience I would recommend, particularly at sunset!

My brother had a very very bad experience with this Lounge Bar. Prepared to propose with his GF and early communicated with the Bar and plan for proposal for that day. When they went there on that day, there is no any decorations as planned and communicated with reason due to rainy day, but the restaurant doesn 't inform my brother upon his arrival or before (until he asked them, they replied, oh ya due to raining, we did not prepare any decorations or do/suggest any alternative plan for him, where they purposely travel all the way from Johor to KL for this event, but end up only have a dinner there with very very NORMAL proposal at last. Oh yes, with 3 Balloons stick at their table there. It is very disappointing for their once in a lifetime event! The restaurant should at least do some alternative plan or suggestion for indoor decorations or whatever for them based on the weather forecast. After they finished their dinner indoor, the outdoor actually stopped rain, the restaurant just do nothing and just let my brother propose without any special arrangement. The assist that the restaurant provided was just hand over the flower (that prepared by my brother to my brother. The once in a lifetime event just ruined by this restaurant! What a memorable proposal!
