Colin's Catch Fish Chippery - Kurunjang

This is a typical fish and chips takeout shop situated in the tranquil Hawthorn neighborhood. The service, food, and atmosphere were decent, considering it’s a small local establishment. I hope that small businesses like this receive more support in the future.

I really like the food, but the language barrier made things difficult. Even after asking for fried dim sims three times, we were served steamed dim sims instead. Additionally, it took 45 minutes for our order to arrive.

Best potato cakes in the state! I absolutely love their flavored grill—CHILLI HERB is a must-try!

The 7th burger was fantastic! It was enormous and came with a spicy relish that we absolutely loved. The chips were perfectly salted, and the sausage in batter was delicious. I would definitely order this again!

The onion rings were absolutely incredible—delicious and perfectly cooked! The fish cakes were delightful, the potato cakes were crispy, and the chips had the ideal balance of fluffy insides and crunchy exteriors. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be returning!
