The Oak Hill - Kurunjang

My fave is the corn and sweet potato fritters with cured trout delicious! I have also tried the bao buns and they are great! Very friendly staff and I come here to get coffee daily its great ans well priced. They have a large outdoor patio (covered) and is dog friendly! The indoors is very nice and cozy and a nice interior design. I love going here its a great addition to the neighborhood and with the new Reservoir station opening up im sure this place would be very popular.

A gorgeous local cafe in Reservoir, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I love the venue, the interior is spacious and the outdoor area is so nice for a sunny day. They have so many options to choose from on the menu! I had the Corn Sweet Potato Fritters and I honestly couldn’t fault them! A generous serving of flavourful fritters that were perfect in texture. The runny egg and added avocado gave it a nice creaminess and richness, and I loved the pickled beetroot for some extra zing. The little pieces of grilled halloumi sprinkled along were the perfect touch. We shared the Ricotta Hot Cake and I was so impressed with this dish! Definitely one of my favourite hot cake dishes ever it was so thick and crispy on the outside, yet incredibly soft and light on the inside. There was even pieces of apple within the hotcake! Absolutely divine I would highly recommend trying this! Overall, I had a lovely time at The Oak Hill Cafe, and left feeling very satisfied. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area! Very expensive, food, Drinks hhhot Staff, woodfire Pizza, small meal in a large Plate. as you can see Pizza didn't look right, looked Oil or been defrosted, they moved us around from a high chaired table, to a low chaired table, mind you my guest has a leg issue so getting him on off took a while. Couldn't find them on Google maps to make a booking, so we just walked in like others.

Oakhill is such a great venue with awesome music and good vibes! It’s spacious with outdoor seating in the sun and offers a variety of dishes on the menu! We ordered; Nourish bowl with avocado Fritters Chilli scramble Ricotta hot cakes The food here was seriously impressive in terms of how it was presented and how it tasted! I loved how vibrant, fresh and beautiful each dish was and how much care went in to plating it up. The nourish bowl was hands down one of the best i’ve had in Melbourne. Every element was executed perfectly and the flavour combinations just matched so well. The pickled seaweed beetroot brought a welcomed acidity to the dish which complimented the sweetness of the roast pumpkin. The hummus was thick and creamy, the edamame were fresh and crunchy and the cauliflower rice was infused with turmeric giving it colour and flavour! It was such a clever nourish bowl I will never forget! The ricotta pancakes were insane! So thick, fluffy and moist. I couldn’t believe they were also stuffed with infused pear, such a wonderful and tasty surprise! The caramel sauce itself was rich, shiny and the perfect consistency and amount. It brought a welcomed sweetness to the dish but was not over powering. The addiction of fresh strawberries and blueberries cut through the sweetness. These hotcakes were absolutely incredible it’s no wonder they were flying out the kitchen door to tables! My friends loved their fritters and chilli scramble. The portions were huge and the fritters had heaps of flavour and the eggs were poached to perfection! The chilli scramble had the perfect amount of chilli and plenty of herbs and spices to have you going back for more. The team at oakhill were so welcoming, attentive, very passionate and friendly. You can tell a lot of love went in to the food and service. I would gladly return and highly recommend this venue to everyone wanting a brunch experience they won’t forget!

Delicious food, delightful and attentive staff. I particularly liked the light fittings and decor. I definitely will be back again. The mushroom risotto was one of the best I’ve ever had.
