Strawberry Shack - La Costa

The cutest little shop ever!!!! we ordered their strawberry shortcake, the strawberry shake and their strawberry dole whip. Everything was so good! Definitely a bit pricey for what you get but to me it was worth it. I wish I had gotten the chocolatecovered strawberries but it?s another reason to go back again ????????

We tried the most popular desserts that were suggested and it was very disappointing... don't be fooled by the ratings. Yes in theory this should be a cute different experience but it's a smoke screen. Tiramisu was dry and more like cake with just somestrawberries dumped on it. The cheesecake was pretty average, I've had better. The 2 desserts cost $15 and were thrown away.Lesson learned.

I am pretty sure I've passed by this place a dozen times while in Carlsbad Village by car and never noticed it. On a whim while in the area, it was suggested we cool off by getting something here. We got the strawberry sundae. Each of us tried adifferent flavor of the custard choice for our sundae. It was delicious and hit the spot on a hot Saturday

Delicious chocolate covered strawberries cool treat on a warm night. Perfect date night with my daughter and I. We also got the chocolate covered marshmallow yuuuuuummm! Thank you Strawberry Shack we will be back.

Strawberry shortcake was ok. Two little slivers of shortcake on the side of a bowl full of sliced strawberries. Cake to strawberry ratio was way off. Cake should have been bigger and under the berries to absorb the strawberry juice. My daughterliked her dole/strawberry whip. My husband?s strawberry key lime pie tasted like cheesecake with strawberries. I can do amuch better strawberry shortcake and key lime pie at home. Cute little stand though.
